DAY OF THE DEAD GALA
Highlights from this year’s event…

TSP held its 13th Annual Day of The Dead Gala on November 8th and exceeded our goal of $180,000 and raised over $200,000! The event was held again at the Eccles Alumni House on the University of Utah campus and was a sell-out with over 300 guests attending. Everyone enjoyed the silent auction, the live auction, face painting, intuitive readers, and photo booth pictures donated by Confettiology, face painting by Changing Faces and intuitive readers from Cat & Cauldron donated their time as well.
This year we were fortunate to have terrific silent auction and live auction items. Some of the live auction items included a stay at Sun Valley, a Honda Motocompacto, a Purple bed set (valued at $12,000), and several others wonderful items. The winning of our lively Heads/Tails game won a week at a Westgate Resort!
A special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, SILAC, for the fourth year in a row. Their generosity and support of TSP is invaluable to our programming. We truly appreciate their consistent support and that of all our other sponsors listed in our program. Mark Koelbel Anchor at KUTV 2 was our MC again this year. His presence and commentary are always entertaining and generate support for TSP. Thank you, Mark! And a big thank you to all of our volunteers and board members who helped to make this happen.
Last year at the event, we announced we hoped to be opening our fourth location in St. George and that donor support would make it happen. This year we announced the location opened in September.
