Chris Chytraus, Co-Founder of The Sharing Place is featured on Be the People’s storytelling initiative on StoriesbyUS.org, sharing her own tragic story and how it inspired her to create an organization to help grieving kids.
Over the past year, Be the People searched for grassroots changemakers in communities across the country, finding inspiration from every person who stepped forward to share their experiences and encourage others by example.
This storytelling portion of Be the People is called Stories by Us, sharing these stories front and center. As a collection, they create a powerful portrait of Americans showing up for one another and we’re so grateful to be a part of it!
