Support Group Volunteers Needed
The Sharing Place always needs volunteers and donations. Whatever you can give will be well used and appreciated.

Tour The Sharing Place
Our staff welcomes the opportunity to introduce others (individuals, families, groups, organizations, or corporations) to what we do here. Call 466-6730 to schedule a tour.

Training for 2008/2009 support group volunteers:

Winter Training Dates: Saturday, January 24th 9am - 5pm
Sunday, January 25th 9am - 5pm
Tuesday, January 27th 6pm - 8pm

Following training, volunteers will be placed in a group which will meet twice a month with a total commitment of six hours a month. We ask for a ten month commitment.

Goals of Seminar:

• To understand the philosophical foundation of a support group model
  
• To understand the grieving process for children and their families
  
• To learn which skills can best support them in their healing
  
• To learn more about The Sharing Place
